About Us

          Koperasi Usahawan Muda Selangor Berhad (KUMS Berhad) is a cooperative established to support and empower young entrepreneurs across Selangor. As a limited liability cooperative, we provide our members with peace of mind, knowing their personal assets are protected while they grow their businesses and access opportunities within a trusted cooperative ecosystem. Our foundation is built on cooperation, shared success, and meaningful support for the next generation of business leaders.

          At KUMS Berhad, we are committed to creating real value through a wide range of entrepreneurial and community-driven services. We carry out franchise activities, helping members explore proven business models, while also supporting information technology and digital innovation initiatives to keep our cooperative future-ready. Through our microfinance schemes, we offer accessible financial support to help young entrepreneurs take confident steps forward. Beyond business, we proudly organize welfare and educational programs to nurture personal growth, skills, and well-being among our members.

          Guided by the Cooperative Societies Act, we also engage in strategic activities that strengthen the cooperative and our members’ potential. This includes owning and managing movable and immovable property, investing surplus funds responsibly under Section 54 of the Act, and establishing subsidiaries under Section 19 with approval from the Registrar. We actively join hands in joint ventures, collaborate with other cooperatives, and participate in networks that expand shared benefits, including becoming members of other cooperatives. Together, these efforts reflect our promise to grow sustainably while opening more doors for our members and the entrepreneurial community we serve.
